UhuRuto Popularity Fake, Jubilee MP Says

The popularity of President Uhuru Kenyatta and DP William Ruto in recent opinion polls is fake, a Jubilee Coalition MP has said.

Nandi Hills MP Alfred Keter says that the recent poll which placed the President as having grown in popularity was not in accordance with the feelings of people on the ground.

He says that the feeling of discontent about the Jubilee Government is so big and that doctoring opinion polls will not help their cause.

” The polls are not a reflection of what is going on when you visit the ground,” he said.

” Whether the polls are true or not, the President and the DP are more unpopulat on the ground as compared to where they were three years ago,” he added.

The poll by Infotrak placed the President on a 37% approval rating with the CORD leader Odinga on 27%.

The poll result was despite the fact that in the recent Kericho by elections, the ruling Jubilee Coalition struggled to get going and opposition party KANU won close to 40% of the overall vote.
