Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT) secretary-general, Wilson Sossion has said that teachers will receive a salary increment before the 2017 polls.
Speaking Friday in Sotik, Sossion said deliberations on the new pay were ongoing and the deal will be unveiled soon.
“We are in talks with Teachers Service Commission and the deal is good for the teachers. It will end the strikes in the next four years,” he said.
