Ghanaian Rapper Medikal showed up in front of an audience at the sixth release of the 2018 Ghana DJ Awards which was held at the Accra International Conference Center [AICC] on Saturday May 5, 2018.
Fans sang along to the vast majority of his hit melodies, for example, ‘Excessively Risky’, ‘Adweeba’ and his rap verse from Kwesi Arthur’s ‘Granulate Day remix’, to which he showed a specific ‘insane’ move nicknamed by Ghanaians as (gbiligbili move).
The rapper outdoored the dance for the first time during his performance at Pent’s Hall Week celebration which took place two months ago.
He was also seen recently repeating the same type of dance at the Livefm studios in Accra and people have since suggested he was going insane.
Medikal’s energetic performance was described by many as a ‘comeback’ to the just ended VGMA’s as he forms part of Ghanaian musicians who have been allegedly ‘side-lined’ by Charter House.
The Ghana DJ awards scheme seeks to appreciate all disc jockey across the 10 Regions of Ghana for their contribution towards promoting Ghanaian genres of music.
