Gianni Infantino was welcomed on his arrival at the Kotoka International Airport by members of the Ghana Football Association’s Executive Committee.
The President of FIFA Gianni Infantino has arrived in Ghana. He is expected to hold a closed door meeting with Ghanaian President Nana Akufo-Addo to discuss football related issues in Ghana and ways the government and FIFA can foster to ensure sports development in the country.
The World football governing body’s boss has been visiting several FIFA Member Associations around Africa to share ideas on his new vision of developing the game across the globe.
He will also confer with key football stakeholders at the the GFA Secretariat at 11:00 am before addressing a press conference afterwards.
The Swiss national is expected leave Ghana at 1:00pm
