Cardi B is reaching the conclusion of her community service for her role in a strip club assault.
In September 2022, the rapper pled guilty to two misdemeanor counts stemming from a 2018 strip club altercation in Queens, New York.
She accepted a plea bargain that included a three-year order of protection from the women engaged in the altercation, as well as 15 days of community service.
She had done zero hours of community service by the time the deadline for completion came in January 2023.
As a result, she was summoned earlier this year to appear before a judge in New York City.
In Queens County Criminal Court on January 17, she was given until March 1 to complete her compulsory 15 days of community service.
She began her community service on Thursday, Jan. 19,
As the March 1 deadline approaches, Cardi is rushing to finish her community service.
She took to Twitter on Wednesday, Feb. 22, to share a photo of her dressed for community service.
She captioned the photo: “On my way to serve some community service time …..DONT COMMIT CRIMES!”
