A former MP says that he was approached to join the CORD Coalition but has instead decided on the Jubilee Party.

Kalembe Ndile, the former MP for Kibwezi says that he refused to link up with the CORD Coalition because they have no plan for the future.

According to the leader of the Tip Tip party, CORD lacks the requisite ambition to deliver to Kenyans.

” Kenyans want to see development and that is only guaranteed under the Jubilee Coalition,” he told News24.

Kalembe is among leaders who have agreed to dissolve their parties and sign up for the Jubilee Coalition and says that it is the best thing to happen to Kenyans.

“The Jubilee Party union is centred on uniting Kenyans and as a political leader, I felt the obligation to make sure that Kenyans are the same for development to continue to grow,” he added.

Kalembe’s party is one of 13 which have agreed to dissolve and form the Jubilee Party in September.
