Approximately 40 Nigerian nationals have been deported from both the United Kingdom and Australia following various immigration offences.
According to Sun News Online, the Nigerians were sent packing from the two countries following claims that some of them began aggravated while fingerprints were being taken at immigration offices.
The two groups have since arrived back in their home country, with 36 Nigerians being flown in via chartered aircraft and a further 6 being transported by Air Seychelles.
Ekpedeme King, PR Officer for the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS), confirmed the development but said that no further details can be relayed at this time, Vanguard reports.
