Former NBA star Lamar Odom is entering the senior home industry in California, with the goal of providing luxurious yet inexpensive care for elders. He is motivated to make a good difference in the lives of elders with Odom Senior Care, as inspired by his 96-year-old grandmother Florence.
Odom’s inspiration stemmed from his own difficulties in finding a new home for his loving grandmother, who now lives alone in her Bronx apartment where she has lived for nearly 70 years. One of the most significant concerns he identified was that present senior living options are frequently too expensive for many seniors to afford.
According to TMZ, Odom opted to launch Odom Senior Care, where he hopes to offer more accessible and cheaply priced alternatives. He collaborated with Regency Palms Senior Living in Oxnard and Long Beach to give seniors with a safe and comfortable living environment.
Odom, who already owns two locations in South California, has great ambitions for development. His ultimate objective is to open 1,000 Odom Senior Care locations, offering seniors pre-negotiated rates. Despite the fact that it is a lofty goal, he is determined to meet it within a few months.
Furthermore, this endeavor comes on the heels of Odom’s successful introduction of the Odom Recovery Group, where he assists people on their road to recovery.
