Murang’a police have arrested two people for allegedly stealing 30 school computers.
The two were arrested along Kenol-Murang’a road carrying the computers in a salon car to unknown destination.
Murang’a South Deputy County Commissioner Samuel Njora said the equipments had been stolen from Murang’a high school.
He said the suspects were arrested at a road block and escorted to Maragua police station awaiting court trial.
He added that one laptop and a communication gadget were also recovered from the suspects.
Njora observed that theft of computers has increased in the County noting that there could be a ready market for the machines.
He however said police have kicked off investigations to establish the individuals behind the thefts.
