Taylor Swift, the Grammy-winning singer, and her boyfriend, Joe Alwyn, have split after six years together.
According to Entertainment Tonight, the 33-year-old US singer has ended her relationship with her longtime boyfriend.
The couple’s split was described as “amicable” and “not dramatic.”
“The relationship had just run its course. It’s why [Alwyn] hasn’t been spotted at any shows,” ET quoted an insider to have said.
On its part, Page Six reports that the pair broke up a few weeks ago.
Swift has been on her ‘Eras Tour’ since March 17, and fans have noticed Alwyn’s absence from the crowds.
On October 18, 2022, the couple was last seen together in public in New York City.
Swift and Alwyn have been in a relationship since 2016.
The couple met at the 2016 Met Gala and began dating a few months later, but their relationship was not made public until 2017.
Swift occasionally mentioned Joe in her songs, but their relationship was kept relatively private.
In an interview with Vogue in 2018, Joe acknowledged the public’s interest in his relationship with Taylor and praised the couple’s commitment to privacy.
“I’m aware people want to know about that side of things. I think we have been successfully very private, and that has now sunk in for people,” he said.
