Taylor Swift Officially A Billionaire

The singer Taylor Swift has been ranked one of the world’s richest persons in 2024 by Forbes, a US business magazine.

The American pop musician made it to the Forbes World’s Billionaires List for the first time, with $1.1 billion.

Forbes said on Tuesday that the list was built using stock prices and exchange rates as of March 8, 2024.

According to the magazine, there are currently 2,781 billionaires, the highest number ever.

The total is 141 more than last year and 26 more than the previous record, achieved in 2021.

Forbes also stated that the wealthiest were wealthier than ever, with a combined worth of $14.2 trillion.

Swift, 34, amassed an estimated $1.1 billion fortune based on profits from her successful ‘Eras Tour’, the value of her music collection, and her real estate holdings.

According to Forbes, Swift is the first singer to achieve ten-figure earnings exclusively through her songs and performances.

Geographically, the United States has the most billionaires of any country, with a total of 813. China ranks second, followed by India.

Swift began professional songwriting at the age of fourteen. She signed with Big Machine Records as a country artist in 2005, and she has recorded six studio albums.

Swift is one of the world’s best-selling digital artists, having sold 200 million records globally.

She is the highest-grossing female touring act and the most-streamed female artist on Spotify and Apple Music.

Her awards include 14 Grammys, a Primetime Emmy, 40 American Music Awards, 39 Billboard Music Awards, and 23 MTV Video Music Awards.
