Govenors Behaving Like Demi-Gods, Complains MP

Bahati Member of Parliament, Kimani Ngunjiri has accused governors of behaving like demi-gods who want to be worshipped.

He said that some governors are behaving as if they are untouchable and above the law.

Speaking Wednesday in Nakuru town, Ngunjiri said that the behavior is worrying and that governors should be put in their place.

“I wonder what is wrong with our governors because they are behaving as if they are small gods who are above the law,” he said.

“The national government should make all governors understand that they are under authority,” he added.

“Counties are in Kenya and Kenya is under one President who should be respected by all governors,” he said, adding that governors of running county governments like personal businesses.
