Sometimes, a mother’s career takes her away from her family for long periods of time.
For a US military mom named Kerry Robinson, moments of reunion with her daughter therefore become treasures to hold on to.
Recently, Kerry shared on Because of Them We Can’s Facebook page just how much those moments mean and how much she loves her daughter.
She began by saying: “When I chose this career, I had no idea you’d be a part of my life…not even 4 years later.”
She continued: “There is nothing on earth that means more to me than you Jayde! With that, I know this career may sometimes distance us physically, but our bond can’t and won’t ever be broken. Mommy loves you!“
What a lovely and heartfelt mommy-to-daughter tribute! It touched the hearts of many commenters of the post.
Gerry Libby wrote: “So sweet. I couldn’t imagine leaving my babies for a night let alone 1 to 2 years. Thank you for your service.” Another commenter, Paul Smiley, said: “Is this ‘beauty shop baby’ and her mom?? Adorable! Thank you for your sacrifice and service!“
