Ghanaian dancehall maestro Stonebwoy has finally reacted to his musical godfather Samini’s open endorsement of the ruling NPP.
According to Stonebwoy, Samini should be given the chance to express himself better as to why he endorsed the party.
He believes that though money must be made, he personally will not openly endorse any party as he is expected to be a unifier in these situations.
Speaking in a recent interview, he said “but for me, my thing is that I believe in there is money to be made, however, wherever but I as a musician being tasked like this as a Unifier I will love to remain a unifier and leave the politicians to play their politics. If I go to vote I know where I will vote but I will not put it out there now.”
” I cannot judge somebody on his own understanding and we all saw the video that Samini did in 2016 which has come back to be a controversial one. I think people should give him the opportunity to express himself better to tell us why he has endorsed the NPP,” he added.
Stonebwoy recently released his single ‘Activate’ featuring Nigeria’s Davido but subsequently asked that promo be put on hold for unknown reasons.
