DP William Ruto has promised Joshua Arap Sang a Jubilee Party ticket in the 2017 General Elections.
It is understood that during the aftermath of the collapse of the Crimes Against Humanity trial against the two, the DP and Sang had an agreement that he would be backed for the polls.
It is understood that Ruto agreed to the request.
” The DP will support Sang in 2017. They have suffered together and Sang has always been loyal thus the support,” a source on Ruto’s team told News24.
Sang has already stated that he will vie for the Trans Nzoia Senate seat come the 2017 polls.
Observers already feel that he will get an easy advantage over any potential competitor thanks to the sympathy derived over the 6 years spent fighting the ICC menace.
