Rift Valley MP Drops Threat To Quit Jubilee

Oscar Sudi will not leave the Jubilee Coalition and is keen on reconciling with Deputy President William Ruto.

Sudi, the Kapseret MP openly supported KANU’s Paul Sang in the Kericho Senate by election in March and went against the Jubilee mantle which had chosen Aaron Cheruiyot.

But now, months after criticizing the DP and stating that he would not be a part of the Coalition, he has taken a step back.

“I am still a part of the Jubilee Coalition. That does not change even if I am critical of the way things have been run,” he said.

He added that despite the differences, it was clear that the Jubilee Coalition was fit to rule the country.

“I think it is obvious that the Jubilee Coalition is fit to rule and not the opposition,” he stated.

Sudi says he will support President Uhuru Kenyatta during the 2017 General Elections.
