“He is leaving CORD for Jubilee,” a close aide who asked not to be named told News24.

Nkedianye has in the past lamented the cost of being in the opposition at the expense of his people.

“Development is in the Jubilee Coalition. My Coalition is not built for that,” he added.

Nkedianye, according to sources is however afraid of losing his seat with the Jubilee fold said to be very friendly to the Maasai people who he represents.

In the Maa region, only Kajiado Central is an ODM zone thanks to Memusi Kanchori who was also in the past a member of the Jubilee Coalition.

Nkedianye is said to be jittery over the proposition of former Interior CS Joseph Nkaissery to run for his seat come the 2017 polls thus the move to jump to Jubilee.

He is said to be uncomfortable with facing Ole Lenku whilst on the ODM ticket as the former CS is very popular in the region.
