President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday remained mum on issues relating to Rivers state rerun elections.
Buhari, who addressed the National Economic Forum retreat in Abuja chose to discuss the country’s economic issues and ignored the crisis in Rivers state, following Saturday’s elections, according to Naij.
The retreat is presided over by Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo.
Buhari said his administration is aware of the prevailing economic hardships and vowed that a lasting solution would be found within the next three years.
The retreat is expected to end on Tuesday.
