A 53-year old man in Machakos County was apprehended on Wednesday night for burning his 8-year old grandson.
According to Citizen TV the man doused his grandson with paraffin for stealing Shs100.
He has since been taken to Matuu hospital.
Meanwhile a 21-year-old woman in Kisii County killed her daughter in order to keep her house-help job in Nairobi.
The woman had just returned the baby home after her employer at Umoja Estate in Nairobi said she could not work efficiently with the baby.
