Students at Kibabii University are up in arms over University management interfering in the up and coming student elections.
According to The Star the University has been shut down.
University management stated in an official letter than all students should leave the premises.
Management is accused of endorsing a student, Tony Barasa whom they claim not to be their leader.
Meanwhile a first year student at the University of Nairobi (UoN) has been arrested for stabbing her boyfriend to death.
19-year-old Sheila Atema is reported to have committed the crime at their apartment in Kangemi, Nairobi on Tuesday.
