Rajab Abdul, a sad Kenyan man, has described how his wife abandoned him when their businesses collapsed.
The father of two stated that he found his wife cheating on him once but chose to forgive her.
“One day I returned from work and came home to an empty house. She had carried everything including my clothes,” he told TUKO.co.ke amid tears.
Rajab stated that when he and his wife initially married, they enjoyed a really wonderful marriage.
The man stated that he and his wife started a fruit business, which was so successful that they decided to create another fast food restaurant.
They have two children, a boy and a girl, and Rajab stated that they were doing well before COVID struck.
Nevertheless, the impacts of the global pandemic decimated all enterprises, putting a burden on their marriage as well.

“I remember one day I asked her if she had weighed the meat that was delivered by the supplier to confirm if we were paying for the amount ordered. She got so upset and attacked me with a knife. She cut my leg. I still have a scar to date. I forgave her,”
Things continued to get worse especially because he had to often travel out of town in search of work. He did this to ensure he would be in a position to provide for his family.
Rajab also painfully recalled how he had come home earlier than expected from work only to find his wife in bed with another man.
“I could not believe it when I saw them on my bed. It hurt so bad. I forgave her because I knew my children would suffer if we separated.” he said
The couple decided to continue living together as long as she stopped her philandering ways.
However, to his shock, Rajab returned from work one day and came home to an empty house. His wife carried everything including his clothes.
“I don’t know what I did to deserve this. It is very painful. I cannot stop thinking about my children. I don’t want them to grow up without me. I would like to tell her to remember that our children need their father even though she no longer wants to be with me,” he said, with tears rolling down his cheeks.
