A Jubilee Coalition MP has accused President Uhuru Kenyatta for failing to invite him to an event in his constituency.

Moitalel Ole Kenta the Narok North MP was absent from a rally held by the President on Friday in Narok County.

He was criticised by Maasai leaders led by Interior CS Joseph Nkaissery for missing the event, a homecoming ceremony for Engineer Johnson Ole Nchoa who is the new Geothermal Development Agency boss.

Kenta says that the President did not invite him for the event, thus he took care of his own business.

” I was not invited. No one mentioned to me that the President would be around. I was told on Friday morning and by then I had other engagements,” he said.

He said that the President’s team made it feel like he was unwanted.

” If the President’s team cannot call me to politely ask that I avail myself to the meeting, then how am I supposed to impose myself on his programme?” he posed.

Ole Kenta says that he is still a member of the Jubilee Coalition and despite the incident is going nowhere.
