The acting Registrar of the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN) has been murdered by suspected gunmen in Abuja.
The deceased, Olufunke Omotuyi, is said to have been killed at her Apo residence when gunmen entered the premises at around 4 a.m. on Wednesday.
The late Omotuyi was reported to be in her office till 8 p.m. on Tuesday.
She was due for retirement from public service next month.
When contacted for commentary, the Police spokesman of the FCT Command, ASP Anjuguri Manzah, claimed that he was yet be briefed on the incident.
