Corruption, after its premiere at this year’s Black Star International Film Festival (BSIFF) has been awarded the ‘Yaa Asantewaa Film as a tool for National Development’ prize at its concluding Gala.
Directed by Pascal Aka, the film is set in a bar, where the delivery of a suitcase becomes complicated.
This action packed eight-minute film is a true display of director Pascal Akas love for action.
Regardless of its length, Corruption is full of intense drama and suspense, guaranteed to leave audiences at the edge of their seats.
Great performances are given by Alphonse Menyo, the main character and Pascal Aka. Though the dialogue could be called into question, it doesn’t take away from the strong message of the film, which is: to Expose, Resist and Fight corruption.
