Deputy Governor Kabugi Gitonga Up In Arms With His Boss

Laikipia County Deputy Governor Kabugi Gitonga has accused his boss of gross mismanagement of public resources.

Gitonga said Governor Joshua Irungu and the executive committee members are misappropriating County funds.

“The Governor and CECs are overspending money meant to benefit residents on misplaced priorities. No development is happening in the County,” said Gitoonga who has since been tipped to be interested in the governor’s seat.

He added that some projects initiated by the County Government have no direct impact on residents and will not benefit them in improving their social or economic lives.
