Social media has on Tuesday been a buzz with humbling photos of the who is who in the political arena queuing like other Kenyans to vote.
Photos of the politicians in winding queues have seen many appreciate the meekness of the individuals that they presumably did not take advantage of their VIP statuses by virtue of the positions some of them hold.
It is understood that long queus have characterised many polling centres with some reportedly queuing as early as 4am.

While the move to stand in line with the rest of Kenyans was impressive to some eyes, others were not convinced as they saw it as a last-minute campaign gimmick.
