President Kenyatta Vows To Unite Kenya After Divisive Poll

After being sworn in for a second term, Kenya’s President Uhuru Kenyatta has urged his divided nation to move on from months of political upheaval.

His inauguration ceremony follows a violent and drawn out election process – which included two disputed polls.

As expected he said all the right things: uniting Kenyans, more jobs, continuing with development projects started in his previous term.

Meanwhile, at least two people were killed when police clashed with supporters of the opposition leader Raila Odinga in Nairobi.
