Two communities in the Ikorodu area of Lagos state are currently being attacked by suspected militants according to Daily Post.
The affected communities include Igbolomu and Ishawo areas.
The gunmen, who gained access to the areas through the water channel, are said to be shooting sporadically as residents are seen fleeing the area.
The number of casualty is yet to be ascertained.
This is coming three days after a similar incident occurred in Ikorodu between suspected Ijaw militants and a local vigilante group.
