Brazil Legend Roberto Carlos Visits Burkina Faso

Brazil star Roberto Carlos played in an exhibition match in Ouagadougou on Thursday.

Boukar Savadogo, Minister of Sports, welcomed the 50-year-old to Burkina Faso’s capital ahead of a three-day visit aimed at developing football in the country.

The former Real Madrid star competed in a gala match alongside Miguel Palacios, Paul Philips, and several other former players.

During his journey to Burkina Faso, the 2002 World Champion plans to meet with other major players, tour clubs and training centers, and participate in other football events to help improve football in the country.
