A man and woman lost their lives after falling into an open pit following an argument in Nairobi.
Witnesses say that the man, a boda boda operator and the woman, who was his ex wife got into an argument over infidelity in Nairobi’s Kangemi slums.
As the argument ensued, they chased each other in the process both falling into the 20 ft deep pit and dying on the spot.
” They were arguing loudly and then the woman started running away and the man gave chase and unfortunately they fell into the pit which is being dug for a latrine and died,” a witness Oscar Salula told News24.
Kenya fire agencies personnel had a tough time trying to retrieve the bodies of the deceased thanks to a huge crowd that had gathered at the scene of the incident.
The bodies were taken to the Nairobi City Mortuary.
