Apple Co-Founder Steve Wozniak Hospitalized After Suffering Stroke

Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak was reportedly hospitalized in Mexico City on Wednesday, Nov. 8, after suffering a potential stroke.

According to CNBC, the 73-year-old physicist and tech entrepreneur was set to attend a World Business Forum event in Mexico City’s Santa Fe neighborhood.

Wozniak finished his speech at the event, but afterward told his wife he was “feeling strange.” His wife insisted on him seeking medical attention.

While the specifics are unknown, TMZ believes that Wozniak may have had vertigo, a disease characterized by dizziness and balance issues.

Wozniak co-founded Apple Computers with Steve Jobs, the longtime Apple CEO who died in 2011.

Their company pioneered personal computing and grew to become the world’s most valuable company, famed for the design and functionality of a variety of consumer devices, including laptop and desktop computers, as well as the iPhone mobile phone.
