After Damning Documentary, Sony Drops R. Kelly

The Popular RnB singer, R. Kelly has been dropped by Sony BMG.

The news comes on the heels of a Lifetime produced documentary Surviving R. Kelly, which detailed allegations of s*xual misconduct levelled against him.

Kelly and Sony BMG management agreed to part ways and after the agreement he was removed from the RCA website.

His music catalogue will remain with RCA records and its parent company Sony. Kelly had been signed to Jive since the beginning of his career in the early 1990s, and when Jive became part of Sony BMG, he became part of the Sony umbrella.RnB singer R. Kelly has been dropped by, Sony BMG.
