This outcome was not what many people, including top musician Davido, expected. The singer who supported his uncle Senator Ademola Adeleke all through the period of the election with his constant tweets and monitoring had hoped that the lines would fall to them in pleasant places.
However, this did not happen. Rather, the All Progressives Congress and its representative took the glory of the day and got many of the votes acquired during the rerun election.
Davido’s only reaction to this event has been a single tweet that did not just show that he was sad but also mirrored his stance that the election was massively rigged.
