Men Crash Vehicle Into Mosque During Prayer Time.

Three men have been arrested in Lagos Island over the damaging of a mosque wall after it was found that they had knowingly crashed into the building.

According to Naij, Michael Obi, Ahmed Ogunfowoke and Tijani Yakubu had constituted a menace in the area after reportedly carrying dangerous weapons and terrorising residents.

Charges against the three include indiscriminate burning of a motorcycle and burning of a used wagon, which is said to have been used while causing damage to the mosque wall.

All three men have pleaded guilty to the charges against them and have been granted bail in the amount of N200,000 each by the Magistrate, who has adjourned the case until June.

The development follows just days after a suicide bomber blew himself up near a mosque in Sulimanti, Borno State.

Naij reports that the man is believed to be a member of Boko Haram.
