Nigeria: Saraki’s CCT Trial, Journalists Kicked Out Of Court Room

Journalists covering the ongoing trial of Senate President Bukola Saraki at the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) were on Thursday kicked out of the court room for taking pictures of  Saraki when he arrived the court room.

Saraki who arrived at exactly 9.55am walked into the court room and went to sit with his colleagues who came to pledge solidarity.

Over 20 senators were in attendance to support the Senate President.

The journalists were ordered out of the court room by officials of the court as they struggled to take exclusive pictures of Saraki exchanging banters with his colleagues.

Some of the lawmakers in attendance are Sam Anyawu representing Imo -east senatorial district, Ibrahim Gobir representing Sokoto -east senatorial district and  Andy Uba representing Anambra South senatorial district.

Others include Stella Oduah representing Anambra North senatorial district, Rafiu Ibrahim representing Kwara South senatorial district and Ben Murray Bruce representing Bayelsa East senatorial district among others.
