A 50-year-old woman has been released on KES 2 million bond after denying charges of robbery with violence.
Wairimu was accused of shooting and robbing a man at the Ojijo/Forest Road roundabout, charges she denied before Chief Magistrate Daniel Ogembo on Wednesday.
According to Kenyans, the suspect was in the company of two others not before court when she committed the crime.
Munga is reported to have escaped with serious injuries.
Crime has been on the rise in the city, with reports identifying the five key crime hotspots as; Lang’ata, Embakasi, Dagoretti, Kamukunji and Makadara regions.
