Seun Kuti, the Afrobeat singer, walked the runway for Casablanca during Paris Fashion Week.
Kuti walked the runway for the French label’s spring and summer 2024 collection on Sunday.
He strutted down the runway in a white jumpsuit with green and purple stripes and a bare chest, with Rema’s smash song ‘Addicted’ playing in the background.
The ‘Day of Victory’ fashion show was a tribute to the late Afrobeat superstar Fela Anikulapo Kuti.
The Casablanca brand also paid tribute to the late legend by posting a short excerpt from his life before the concert began.
“We are honoured to announce our Printemps-Été 2024 runway show ‘Day of Victory’, a story close to our hearts. Live from Paris this Sunday, 1st October 2023. 4:30pm CET #casaway,” they wrote.

He is the youngest son of Fela and has continued the Afrobeat legacy, just like his father.
Seun is known for his controversial stance and socially conscious music, addressing socio-political issues in Nigeria and beyond.
He is the originator of songs like ‘Bad Man Lighter’, ‘Opposite People’, ‘African Soldier’, ‘Kalakuta Boy’, and ‘Slave Masters’, among others.
He has also received several recognitions for his craft.
