Wario Confident Kenya Will Meet Doping Deadline

Nairobi – After the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) set Kenya a deadline to have an anti-doping law in place, Cabinet Secretary Ministry of Sports Culture the Arts Dr Hassan Wario is confident that they will meet the deadline.

Wario also denied claims that they had the latest version of the bill rejected.

“We are in contact with Wada who have to approve the Bill every time we make any amendment,” he told standardmedia.co.ke.

“I want to assure the country that we will beat the deadline.

“We have the policy ready and Wada have approved the seventh edition because we have to send it to Canada every time we make any changes.”
