US-based Nigerian actress Georgina Onuoha has taken to social media to express her strong reservations against fellow nationals who are rooting for President Donald Trump to win his re-election bid. The actress in a lengthy post shared on her official Instagram page categorically stated that she has scores to settle with the president once the elections have been concluded.
Onuoha went on to express her dissatisfaction against Trump’s administration’s decision to ban visa for Nigerians and crippling the opportunities for those looking to study in the country.
“The Nigerian part always made me mad. Him banning Nigerians from Visa lottery, banning Nigerians from four years university in America, him denying Nigerians the ability to bring their parents and siblings through migration even though his own wives families benefited from it.” Still speaking on the matter, Onuoha condemned the fact that there are Nigerians back at home praying for the president to win his second term bid. According to her, Nigerians in the diaspora contribute majorly to the economy and those at home have to know how much of an aberration the Trump administration has been.
Onuoha went on to note that Trump has offered little or no help to Nigeria and was even quiet amid the country’s fight against police brutality.
While Onuoha is kicking against the re-election of Donald Trump, It was reported that veteran actress Rita Edochie showed support for the president on social media. In a recent post shared to her Instagram page, she prayed to God that Trump gets re-elected into office. According to Edochie, Trump’s win will be to the advantage of Christians all over the world.
