Three men were shot and killed on Friday for the attempted robbery at a bank.
According to Capital FM the police recovered five round of ammunition after a tip off from the public.
The trio were apprehended after they attempted an escape but drove into a lorry after a car chase.
Meanwhile on Friday three suspected robbers were shot dead while attempting to rob Barclays Bank Westlands branch.
Witnesses say they were killed by the officers guarding the institution.
The three were in a gang of five, but two of them escaped.
