The live-action adaptation of Disney’s iconic classic “The Little Mermaid” has reached a milestone on Disney Plus just days after its release. The film has received over 16 million views worldwide.
According to data from the entertainment company, the film has become the most-watched Disney Plus movie premiere in history. Halle Bailey, Melissa McCarthy, Javier Bardem, Daveed Diggs, and Awkwafina were among the cast members.
The film’s first trailer, released in March, received an incredible 108 million global views in its first 24 hours. According to mm news, this is the biggest viewership figure for a Disney live-action picture since 2019’s “The Lion King.”
