Tanzanian Actress, Wema Sepetu Forced to Apologise After Locking Out Journalists At Her Event

Tanzanian sweetheart Wema Sepetu has been forced to apologise after locking out Journalists at her movie premiere that featured Ghanaian actor Van Vicker over the weekend.
Speaking during a press Conference on Tuesday, Wema stated that she is very sorry to all the media houses that showed up at her event but were not allowed into the premiere hall.

According to the Bongo movie actress, the decision of not allowing journalists into her event was reached upon by her invited guest who had requested the hall to be camera-free.

“Kwanza nianze na kuomba msamaha kwa media kwa kukosa kupata access kwa Birthday Party yangu. Ila hii haikuwa hiya yangu, watu ambao walikuwa wahudhuria usiku huo hawakutaka picha kwa sana. Kwa hivyo naombeni mnisamehe kwa sababu sijafanya kwa kusudi” said Wema.

Star-studded party
On August 28, the Miss Tanzania 2006 held a star studded Birthday party that was attended by a good number of celebrities from the African entertainment industry.

The stars included Ghanaian actor Van Vicker, Mama Dangote, Esma Platnumz, Petit Man, top actors in Tanzania, video vixens, government officials, close friends and family members.

The invite-only party had all guests who showed up dressed for the occasion and the fashion taste was top notch.

The Tanzania Sweetheart also used the moment to launch her new movie which she had Van Vicker featured in.
