Shuaibu Amodu’s Body Moved To Hometown For Burial

The remains of the late Shuaibu Amodu have been moved to his hometown – Okpella in Benin for burial.

News24 reports that the Nigeria Football Federation announced on Saturday that Amodu died in his sleep after complaining of chest pain.

Chairman of Edo State Football Association Frank Ilaboya confirmed toNews24 on Saturday that the remains of the late former coach has left the Stella Obasanjo Hospital in Benin City, where it was deposited, for his hometown – Okpella.

Ilaboya could however not confirm if Amodu will be buried on Saturday. Though as a Muslim, there are report he will be buried immediately after his death.

Amodu’s death came three days after former Nigeria legend Stephen Keshi died on Wednesday.
