A former military administrator of Kaduna State, Senator Abubakar Tanko Ayuba, has passed away at 71, Daily Trust reports.
The late senator died around 5:05pm on Wednesday at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) after a protracted illness.
The Deputy Senate Leader, Bala Ibn Na’Allah, said arrangements were being made to bury the deceased according to Islamic rites.
Late Senator Ayuba, who was the military administrator of Kaduna State between 1990 and 1992, is survived by a wife and children, among them the Kebbi State Commissioner for Justice, Rakiya Ayuba according to Premium Times.
