I saved DP William Ruto from International Criminal Court ICC prosecution, a former ODM advisor has said.
Miguna Miguna who for a long time was the advisor to the CORD leader and former Prime Minister Raila Odinga says that he saved the DP from the ICC by offering key evidence that killed his crimes against humanity case at the ICC.
He states that his role in saving Ruto is massive and must not be underrated.
” I was an expert witness for the DP and you can ask the ICC as well as the DP himself,” he told News24.
The revelation came just a few days after he made a similar accusation on a national TV station.
Miguna says that he does not want to be paid handsomely for his help but only to be recognised for the duty he did to the nation.
“Ruto needed information to be tabled at the Hague-based court. ODM, which was his party then, refused to give him the documents… the information he needed to prove he was not involved. They eventually came to me,” he said.
The DP’s office, when contacted by News24 did not comment on the matter.
