Protrait Of Legendary Ghanaian Gospel Musician, Yaw Sarpong Auction For Ghc5000

Pioneering Gospel music singer, Yaw Sarpong was honoured (last night June 25) at the AccraInternational Conference Centre (AICC) as a portrait of him drawn live during Joe Mettle’s God of Miracles Live DVD Recording Concert was auctioned for GHC5000.

Touched by the kind gesture and honour, Yaw Sarpong performed a number of songs together with Joe Mettle.

Yaw Sarpong has 25 music albums and over 100 songs to his name and is keen on continuing his mission to restoring joy with his songs of faith and exhorting Christians to live passionately for God.

Joe Mettle who led thousands to the presence of God also took the opportunity to pay tribute to one of his inspirations Danny Nettey who died in July 2016.

The concert featured some gospel ministers including Ohemaa Mercy, Akesse Brempong, Ntokozo Mbambo from South Africa and Luigi MacLean.

The album, God of Miracles is expected to be released in September 2017.
