The family of slain controversial businessman, Jacob Juma was kept in the dark about his murder, several hours after he was shot dead.
Juma’s widow, Mirriam Juma on Thursday told mourners during his requiem mass that no one, even the police told her about his macabre death.
“From the time he was allegedly killed last Thursday night up to Friday morning, I had no idea he was gone. I even took my children to school in the morning without knowing that their father was dead. I only knew it from the media,” she explained.
Miriam who eulogised her husband as the best husband and father of his children, revealing that security agents up to date have not contacted her as they carry out investigations.
“I only hear investigations are going on. What kind of investigations are being conducted when no single policeman has even talked to me?” posed Miriam.
Several leaders including Raila Odinga attended the sombre requiem mass for Juma in Nairobi.
