Police Arrest Two kidnappers In Kogi State

Abuja – Approximately 33 kidnapper are said to have actually been catch during the police raid of a mosque in Kogi State.

The kidnappers, who were nabbed while holding a meeting to establish plans for their next attack, were allegedly exposed by a member of the group who had been planted by police operatives.

The sting operation, which took place during a prayer service at the mosque, were identified and handcuffed on site before being taken into the custody of police officers.

Commodore Jerry Omodara, special adviser on security to the Kogi State Governor, confirmed the arrests while stating that the services of a Police crack detective team deployed from Abuja was yielding good results in the state, This Day reports.

Omodara has since ensured Kogi citizens of their safety and protection.
