The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Cross River has inaugurated a seven-man zoning committee for the forthcoming state congress.
The committee was inaugurated on Thursday by the Chairman of the party in the state, John Okon.
Okon said the committee became necessary to ensure equity, justice and fair-play during Ward, Local Government, State and National Congresses.
Members of the committee include the state Deputy Governor, Prof. Ivara Esu, Speaker of House of Assembly, John Lebo and Sen. Gershom Bassey representing Southern Senatorial District
The PDP ward congress is expected to begin on April 23.
