The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has alleged that one of the daughters of President Muhammadu Buhari flew first class on a British Airways flight to London on Tuesday.
This was disclosed on the official Twitter account of the party.
The party said Aisha, the 16-year-old daughter flew first class to London on seat number 2k.
President Buhari had earlier banned public office holders in his government from flying first class.
The directive was contained in a statement released by Festus Akanbi, media adviser to Kemi Adeosun, Minister of finance.
The Federal Government in the statement said permanent secretaries, chairmen of federal government committees, chairmen and chief executives of parastatals and agencies are to travel on business class.
